SCHOOL'S HISTORY
Colegio Monterrey was founded in 1956 based on the vision of a group of parents and Christian leaders that felt in their hearts the need to offer an educational option based on Christian principles to the Christian community of Costa Rica.
This educational center, as well as other institutions such as the Templo Bíblico, the Hospital Clínica Bíblica, and the Asociación de Iglesias Bíblicas Costarricenses (AIBC), is the harvest of the missionary effort of servants of the Latin American Mission.
Colegio Monterrey's classrooms have shaped dozens of generations that understood God's plans for their lives and Humanity in general. To fulfill this purpose, many committed educators and administrators have contributed their time and effort.
At the beginning of the 80's, Colegio Monterrey had already become a prestigious educational center that offered a high quality education to its students, while establishing a strong base of moral values and Christian principles.
At the present, Colegio Monterrey continuously makes an effort in all areas to provide an excellent education that allows students them to develop the skills needed to function in various study and work environments
