Requirements for New Students - School Year 2010

Elementary and High School

  • The English and Math diagnostic exams will be applied at 8:00 a.m. (September 3 and 17, October 22, and November 5 and 26). Please call Kattia Figueroa C. at Phone (506) 2224-0833 extension 147 to be enrolled in the list on the day that best suits you.
  • The cost of the packet, which includes the exams, orientation speech, and interviews with the school psychologist (according to the level), is ¢7.000.
  • Please bring the student's official grade reports from the present year and the previous year, certified financial records, as well as a pencil box with all the normal utensils on the day the student comes to take the exams.
  • Either the student’s mother or father should accompany him/her and should be ready to spend at least two and a half hours for the orientation speech and the interview.

Pre-School

  • There is a parent meeting for those interested in the admission process: either on September 16 or October 16 at 8:00 a.m.
  • Please call Kattia Figueroa C. at Phone (506) 2224-0833 extension 147 to sign up on the day that best suits you.

Preschool students should meet the admission age policy:

  • Nursery students should be 2 years and 3 months old by February 1.
  • Prekinder students should be 3 years and 3 months old by February 1.
  • Kindergarten students should be 4 years and 3 months old by February 1.
  • Preparatory students should be 5 years and 3 months old by February 1

SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Elementary and High School: Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Preschool: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 12:00.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

In specified hours according to the need from 12:00 to 5:15 (Fridays until 5:00)

COSTS OF OUR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

ENROLLMENT FEES

Preschool: ¢115,000 colones
Elementary School and High School: ¢120,000 colones

VOUCHER:  Only applied at enrollment: ¢15,000 colones for the first child, ¢10,000 colones for the second, and ¢5,000 colones for the third.

MONTHLY FEES

Preschool: Maternal and Pre-kinder: ¢80,000
      Kindergarten: ¢100,000
      Preparatory: ¢125,000

Elementary School: ¢140,000
High School: ¢145,000

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

• Full Time: ¢52,000 (Until 5:15 p.m.)
• Part Time: ¢31,000 (12:00 to 2:30 Preschool)
• Relative Part Time: ¢25,000 (Monday to Thursday:  Elementary School 2:30 to 4:15 and Preschool from 12:00 to 2:30)
• Time 3 hours: 16000 (weekly)

Elementary and High School
The fees include: student insurance, monthly payments for the end-of-the-school-year party, communication’s booklet, private ambulance service, Monterrey Fair fee (and for High School, locker rent)

Preschool
For Preschool, besides what was previously mentioned for the elementary and high school, the fees include ALL OF THE MATERIALS FOR DAILY WORK (you will only be asked to send personal hygiene items for your child, and in the case of Prepatory, two books.)

The fees for Kindergarten and Prepatory include either the Soccer Club or Gymnastics.

DISCOUNT POLICY

We offer a discount policy for those parents who wish to pay three or more monthly fees in advance.

We offer an additional 10% discount on the third child for those families that have three or more? children in our Institution.

From 9 to 11 monthly fees: 12%
From 6 to 8 monthly fees: 10%
From 3 to 5 monthly fees: 6%

Note: If the payment is done with a credit card, the discount will only be 5%
